I saw that movie today, and I loved it. I couldn't find anyway to negatively critize it with.

Who has seen it, what do you think?

And who is looking forward to seeing 2012?

i liked it, but didnt like it at the same time. so many people hyped it up and i wasnt that impressed. i shouldnt have gone in with such high expectations, i woulda liked it more.

I felt the same with the last Harry Potter movie. It wasn't great. But I didn't even know I was going to see this or what was about really, but the best thing about it was the GRAPHICS. Never seen graphics that good before.

same with me. But I will admit that this movie was very different and went places that a normal movie wouldn't try. For this fact it was awesome. But I expected something different, I guess.

Also Wes Craven. I know that's kind of cliche. But, seriously, Last House On The Left and The Hills Have Eyes. Fucked.

Haha, yeah, but as for Halloween. The original still owns. It's so creepy. But for some odd reason I prefer the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre than the original.

i can feel you on that. the orginal tcm was only like an hour long and everyone died within a 15 to 20 minuted time frame.

the remake uses a lot more dull colors so it always seems more creepy and dark. if you watch the old interviews with cast and crew that movie wasn't suppose to be much of a whole plot thing originally... you get more into plots in the later ones. it was made for more of a shock effect because at the time not a lot of movies went to that stretch besides The Exorcist (which was only that crazy because you had some 12 year old girl saying crazy shit and fucking herself with a cross yelling "LET JESUS FUCK ME") and Bloodthirsty Butchers and all those gore filled movies along those lines. that and suspense... how you don't see anything and you just hear the breathing and the footsteps getting closer... that shit terrified me when i was little.

i love horror movies so much... but i hate being in scary situations. when fraud went to witches pond and it was raining at like 2 or 3 in the morning trying to summon demons and ghosts and shit... i had my knife out the whole time and wouldn't walk in the back of the line like a pussy. i wanted to see some crazy shit.. but still.

my favorite horror movie will always be Psycho no matter what. it was one of the first horror movies i watched and it was with my Grandpa when i was staying up in NY for the summer when i was like 6 years old.. so i guess it's a sentimental kind of thing

nothing.. unfortunately as we were walking up there already was shit kids there being dickheads... that was what we were mainly on edge about... we didn't want some dumbass kids jumping up and yelling and shit cause you can get in big trouble for being there. but before this ben and rob went there with some other people and saw some crazy shit... if you knew them you'd know they aren't going to bullshit about stuff like that. when we parked down the street both of them got really nervous and started shaking and getting goosebumps and shit because they've seen crazy shit there. unfortunately for me and devan.... we didn't. i really want to go back though and try again

This topic rules.

Psycho was a really good film. It was just creepy.

I really like Zombie movies, I've think I have seen almost all of them. I have a friend "Trey" who has over 300 horror movies, and some of them honestly I almost got sick watching. I used to just go to his house and we'd just watch them until we fell asleep or I had to leave.

The most gory have been "Cannibal Halocaust" and "August Undergroud". Which were both cheap budget films, it just all looked so real and were so disturbing.

And the new "The Last House on the Left" is badass. I was like 10 when I saw the original one and don't really remember it, but the new one was suspenseful, gross, and disturbing all at the same time. A+ movie in my mind.

I've seen bits and pieces. It's pretty fucked. They're remaking I Spit On Your Grave. I'm pretty stoked on that.

this should be turned into an exploitation film thread.
