this is a repost of a message I received from shravan (ssr and aghast) about an accident that occurred on the way home from a festival in minnesota that the bands played. please read and repost:

"The other car traveling back with us from the distortion days festival was involved in a horrible accident. they were hit by another vehicle which caused the car to flip. Alex did not survive the crash. Amanda, Stevey, Hesq, Kyle Mac, and Lars have been released from the hospital with only minor injuries.
